IWI 3-year Report of Action (2022-2025) and Action Plan (2026-2029)
Three years of theory and praxis helping and supporting trade union organizations, trade unionists, and young workers.

Three years of theory and praxis helping and supporting trade union organizations, trade unionists, and young workers.

The IWI treats theory as a guide to action, grounded in the concrete conditions faced by workers and working class across the world.

It is our purpose to provide, both in practice and in theory, the elements for the emancipation of the working class, so that capitalism may be overcome and end up in the dustbin of history.

I firmly believe that IWI’s work strengthens class consciousness, international solidarity, and the collective capacity of workers to struggle and prevail.

Our collective commitment remains to transform, not to adapt!

In a world where a tiny minority accumulates immense wealth and imperialist aggression tramples on international law, peoples and workers, the IWI is not a neutral think tank, but a school for militants.

Imperialists use several weapons to maintain these scourges, notably the ideology of domination. It is, among other things, to counter this that the International Workers Institute was created.

On June 23, the IWI hosted a compelling online presentation of Jeff Schuhrke’s important book, Blue-Collar Empire: The Untold Story of US Labor’s Global Anticommunist Crusade. The event drew the participation of over 50 trade unionists and cadres from 22 countries, reflecting broad international interest in this critical history.

IWI calls on everyone to join the workers’ demonstrations this May Day 2025.

The International Workers’ Institute (IWI) participated in the 20th Congress of FISE (World Federation of Teachers’ Unions) which was organized in Rabat, Morocco, on 5 and 6 April, 2025.
