On the joint initiative of the WFTU members in France and the International Workers’ Institute (IWI), the presentation of the book “Critical Notes on the History of the World Trade-Union Movement – Issues of Tactics and Strategy” took place on October 3 in Paris, at the Eugène Hénaff hall of the Paris Bourse du Travail. Speakers included Caroline Viau, Esteban Muñoz, Christoforos Giakoumelos, and Matthieu Bolle-Reddat, as well as the author of the book, George Mavrikos. A rich debate and interventions by the participants followed. The presentation coincided with the anniversary of the founding of the WFTU, which took place on October 3, 1945, in Paris.
