True to our mission to enhance the Class Oriented Trade Union Education and bring the history of the trade union movement to light, the Institute publishes the online edition of the book “Critical Notes on the History of the World Trade-Union Movement – Issues of Tactics and Strategy”, written by the IWI President, George Mavrikos.

Part of the funds (2 euro) will be contributed to the Workers’ Central Union of Cuba (CTC) by the IWI in solidarity to the struggle of the Cuban People against the tightening embargo of the imperialist USA.

George Mavrikos has served as the General Secretary of the Greek Confederation of Labour, Founding member of the All-Workers Militant Front of Greece (PAME), General Secretary of the World Federation of Trade Unions and is acting Honorary President of the WFTU as well as President of the International Workers’ Institute.

The Book is available in English, Spanish, French and Greek, an edition translated recently for this purpose.
